Pulse is seeking a band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic neuro team based within our NHS trust in London. This position is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours each week for 3 months initially.

The post holder will be a member of the Clinical Health Psychology and Neuropsychology department. The role will include providing specialist neuropsychological assessments, developing individualised biopsychosocial formulations, and providing direct, evidence-based interventions. As well as one-to-one work, the post holder will be involved in the development and provision of group-based interventions (e.g., mindfulness cognitive strategies). In addition to direct clinical work, an essential aspect of the role is offering advice and consultation on psychological and neuropsychological aspects of a person’s care to other health professionals.

It is essential that the psychologist has previous experience within a neuro environment and is registered with the HCPC to be considered for this role.

Psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to the carers of service users. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Teams’ policies and procedures.
