The Physiotherapy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Children’s Physiotherapy Team Manager. The successful Physiotherapist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a Physiotherapist to cover a Children’s physiotherapy service caseload. Previous experience of working in NHS is essential for this role.

Payrate : £39.11
Hours : Full time Part Time
Duration : Until substantive recruitment completed

Essential skills:

  • To co-ordinate service delivery for the Children’s physiotherapy service.
  • To provide line management and managerial oversight of the day to day running of the Children’s Physiotherapy team (managing day to day staff/ Human resources issues, clinical issues and where appropriate resourcing issues)
  • To be responsible for delivering identified KPIs in service area via the collection and presentation of statistics to Children’s Therapy Lead and the Directorate Management team
  • To be responsible for maintaining an overview of the standards of care being delivered across the service, instigating remedial action to improve practice as necessary highlighting and escalating issues as they arise.

    • The experience required is:

  • At least 3 years of line management experience
  • Experience of managing a team of physiotherapists is desirable
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience of paediatric physiotherapy
