The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a Band 7 position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £40 – £50. The role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, starting from 19th August 2024, for a duration of 2 weeks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac activity during procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
- Proven experience as an Invasive Cardiac Physiologist.
Desirable:
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
