The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in a busy hospital in Central London. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s microbiology service. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards “great people, great place.”
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
- As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you will have experience in reading cultures, identifying significant pathogens, and performing susceptibility testing.
- You will also support the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and provide guidance to junior members of staff.
Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:
- HCPC registration
- Qualification in Biomedical Science
- Experience in Microbiology with NHS or private sector in the UK
- Must have at least two years of experience working in a clinical bacteriology laboratory
