About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our hospital’s pharmacy services and lead a dedicated team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical trial activities.
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of investigational medicinal products.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of clinical trial activities.
- Deliver a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the cardiac and respiratory wards in collaboration with the Senior Specialist Pharmacist.
- Promote and contribute to the education and training of pharmacy staff and other clinical staff rotating or working on the specialist wards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Up to date GPhC registration.
- Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
- Proven experience in a hospital setting.
Desirable:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
