We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist specializing in Acute Respiratory care to join a dynamic team in Bristol.

Position Overview: As a Physiotherapist Acute Respiratory Band 6, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with acute respiratory conditions. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and implement specialized physiotherapy interventions to optimize respiratory function and improve patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing respiratory challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute respiratory conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and evidence-based practice.
  • Implement specialized physiotherapy interventions to improve respiratory function, including airway clearance techniques, breathing exercises, and mobilization.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory management techniques and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist in acute respiratory care settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting respiratory assessments and implementing specialized physiotherapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
