Pulse AHP's Speech and Language Therapy Team is currently recruiting an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join the team for a full-time role based in the Swindon area. These roles will be in the Swindon area providing Speech and Language therapy services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 2 years’ experience working exclusively with a pediatric population.

Hours: 1 day per week, maybe some ad hoc shifts too

Essential skills:

  • Recent Speech and Language Therapy experience of at least 24 months
  • Proof of competency

We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to be able to work at least 1 day per week, some ad hoc shifts too. These will be Full-Time hours across the week. This position is available now for the Summertime and then from September 2024 for the academic year (term time only). This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to Β£32 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy:

  • This is a specialist primary school for pupils with SEMH needs. There is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) with 8 pupils and the main school with 52 pupils, all with EHCPs.
  • Special needs include ASD, SEMH, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.
  • The SaLT will provide interventions as required including classroom work, 1:1 therapy, small groups, assessments, reviews, resources and support, and upskilling of staff.
  • Support with EHCP applications about SaLT for the PRU pupils.

Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy:

  • You must be a Speech and Language Therapist with a recent experience of at least 24 months.
  • You must be willing to register with our agency fully.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
