Role: Pharmacy Technician
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: Aylesbury
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: At least 3 months from placement
Working Pattern: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hrs per week, including weekends and late-night duties
Rate: Day: £15 – £22 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in managing the workflow within our Dispensary and ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage workflow within the Dispensary
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification or willingness to work towards this qualification
  • Desirable:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
  • Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
  • Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling).
