About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to conduct an individual assessment for a 20-year-old male recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The individual is also suspected to have a learning disability or at least a learning difficulty. He is currently supported within a placement on a 3:1 staffing ratio and has a forensic history.

This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapist vacancy:

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the individual’s speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Provide a detailed report with recommendations on how to support the individual with any identified Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) needs.
  • Collaborate with the current support team to ensure the recommendations are practical and tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
  • Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapist vacancy:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD and learning disabilities
