The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Radiopharmacy Technician in Northwood. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, No bank holidays, No weekend working. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £22.00 per hour all inclusive.

Essential skills

  • Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
  • Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling).
  • Holds the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
  • 2 years NHS experience.
  • Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical manufacture.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Annex 1 Manufacture of sterile products).
  • Familiar with pharmaceutical quality management system.
  • Previous experience in a radiopharmacy with proven ability to aseptically manufacture products accurately and without errors.
  • Working in a MHRA licenced radiopharmacy is preferable.
  • Must be able to arrive on-site by 5am without reliance on public transport.
  • Required to wear personal protective apparel and clean room garments appropriate for a grade B clean room.
