About the hospital: Join a new patient-focused theatre opening within a state of the art NHS hospital in Birmingham this year. If you are a theatre nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with experience in ophthalmic surgery and committed to providing excellent clinical care, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview: We are currently offering an excellent developmental opportunity for a qualified nurse or ODP to join a passionate recovery team in Birmingham. This role will allow you to work alongside an excellent team within scrub and develop your skills in various specialties. As a Band 5 Scrub Nurse or ODP, you will play a crucial role in post-operative care, ensuring patients recover safely and comfortably within ophthalmic surgery.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Commitment to teaching and desire to progress within the Recovery Department
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a “can-do” approach
- Some experience within ophthalmic surgery
