The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 4/5/6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy hospital in Luton. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular histology service.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy, able to cut over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard, alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day-to-day basis, you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and guiding junior members of staff.
