Pulse Mental Health is searching for a Band 8a/8b Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Inpatient team within an NHS trust based in Blackpool on a locum basis.

The post holder will be required to conduct comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments, formulate and implement psychological interventions, carry out comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments and formulation, and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of psychology interventions and consultations to support people with specific and complex needs. To be professionally, legally responsible, and accountable for all clinical work and care aspects. To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Trust Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
