Pulse is seeking a qualified and experienced band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult mental health team within a private service in Halifax. This position will be available to start ASAP for the appointed Clinical Psychologist, working full-time hours for an ongoing period of 5 months.

As a Clinical Psychologist specialising in Adult Mental Health, the post holder will be crucial in promoting mental wellness and delivering evidence-based treatments to adult clients. You will conduct assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and support individuals struggling with various mental health conditions.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
  • Have experience in case discussion to identify suitable referrals for neuropsychological assessment
  • Have experience in specialist neuropsychological assessment for people under the memory treatment service to inform the process of diagnosing dementia
  • Have experience with the provision of carer support, either directly (such as the START approach) or via consultation with colleagues
