Pulse is seeking a qualified and experienced band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult mental health team within a private service in Braintree, Essex. This position will be available to start ASAP for the appointed Psychotherapist, working full-time hours for an ongoing period of 3 months.

The successful CBT therapist will be required to offer an integrative counselling and psychotherapy service to Farsi (Persian) speaking individuals, families, couples, children and young people. The qualified practitioner will provide Counselling and Psychotherapy within BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and will be supervised by experienced qualified supervisors.

Referrals are accepted from individuals and through medical professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies by completing the referral form provided by the Counselling Service. The Counselling Manager will carry out a detailed psychological assessment, and where appropriate, counselling or psychotherapy will then be offered for a specific period, 12 to 24 sessions subject to review.

  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
