As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse in the Harrogate area, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams around the Dorset area. Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £20.00 to £37.31 PH.

Responsibilities:
  • Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
A&E Nurse role Requirements:
  • 6 months NMC Registration.
  • 6 months experience in A&E - able to provide 2 references for verification.
  • Up to date CV covering 10 years work history and Skills.
  • Full EPP Clearance of Immunisations.
  • Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.
