Locum Consultant Microbiology - Birmingham Birmingham, West Midlands Job Title: Locum Consultant Microbiologist Grade : Consultant Location : Birmingham, West Midlands Contract : 12-months fixed-term, with CESR support Rate : £105,504 to £139,882 a year pro rata per annum We are looking for a Locum Consultant in Microbiology to join an established Microbiology service in Birmingham. This role involves providing comprehensive microbiological care and supporting the infection control service. The appointee, together with the existing three Consultant Medical Microbiologists, will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective clinical Microbiology, infection prevention and control, and laboratory service to the Trust and other users of the Microbiology laboratory. CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration. What will your responsibilities be?
