I'm looking for a Technical BA to join a fast-growing InsurTech platform operating in the London insurance market. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role sitting on a pricing benchmark product, a genuinely complex, data-intensive environment with multiple third-party integrations and competing stakeholder demands. You'll need to hit the ground running.

Key focus areas

  • Map and analyse data flows across multiple third-party integrations, understanding where information comes from, where it breaks down, and what's missing.
  • Identify gaps and friction points in requirements before they become delivery problems.
  • Monitor backlog health, traceability and data quality to stay ahead of issues, not react to them.
  • Spot where processes or requirements aren't working effectively and find practical ways to fix them.
  • Proactively surface risks and blockers, not wait for them to land on someone else's desk.

Why join?

  • You'll be working on a technically meaty product with real complexity; this isn't a tick-box BA role, it's one where your ability to create clarity from chaos will be visible and valued.
  • The team operates a POD model with a strong collaborative culture across engineering, QA and product ownership.
  • AI tooling is embedded in the workflow (Microsoft Copilot), the business is serious about using it to move faster, not just talking about it.

You'll need…

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in data-heavy or integration-heavy environments.
  • Proven experience managing requirements across multiple third-party systems with competing stakeholder demands.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog health, 3 amigos, the lot.
  • Data analysis skills and comfort working with SQL and data dictionaries.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira or Confluence.
  • The ability to self-direct; you create structure, you don't wait for it.

Insurance experience is a plus, but financial services, data platforms or complex third-party data environments are all relevant backgrounds.

Sound like you? Send your CV and a brief note on why your experience is a match to lauren.stuart@pulserecruit.co.uk.
