This team sits at the centre of that, creating immersive, scroll-driven, visually rich experiences that shape the news agenda.
What you'll be doing:
- Building high-impact, interactive stories for web and mobile
- Translating design concepts into fully realised, production-ready experiences
- Creating scroll-driven, animation-heavy storytelling pieces
- Working closely with designers, editors, and content teams in a fast-paced newsroom
- Helping define best practices and scalable systems for visual storytelling
- Mentoring junior developers and raising the bar across the team

- Strong frontend experience (React or Svelte)
- Deep JavaScript knowledge (ES6+, async patterns, performance)
- Experience building interactive/immersive web experiences
- Strong CSS skills (animations, layouts, micro-interactions)
