We’re working with one of the UK’s leading enterprise businesses as it continues to invest heavily in its Cyber Data & Platform capability. This is a high-impact Engineering Manager role at the centre of a large-scale cyber transformation programme, helping to build and scale the data infrastructure that powers threat detection, security analytics, machine learning, and GenAI across the organisation.

You’ll be leading a team of platform/data engineers whilst remaining close enough to the technology to shape architecture, engineering standards and platform direction. The environment is heavily cloud and platform-focused, with a real emphasis on scalability, automation and modern engineering practices.

They’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience leading engineering teams at scale
  • Comes from a strong data platform or backend engineering background
  • Can drive technical decision-making and platform maturity
  • Understands modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
  • Is comfortable working across engineering, security and senior leadership teams
