They’re building out an award-winning visual storytelling team and this is a chance to step into a Senior role where you’ll lead the creation of immersive, interactive, data-led content that genuinely sets the agenda.
This is not a traditional graphic design role. Think scroll-based storytelling, interactive features, data visualisation and digital-first editorial experiences.
The Role- You’ll be at the forefront of interactive storytelling, owning and delivering high-impact content while helping raise the bar across the team.
- Lead the design of immersive, interactive stories.
- Create digital-first, high-impact visual content at pace.
- Drive data-led storytelling and visual narratives.
- Mentor and support junior designers.
- Collaborate with editorial, product & engineering teams.
- Help shape the direction of an award-winning visual function.
- Experience in editorial, newsroom or high-velocity digital environments.
- Strong portfolio of interactive / immersive storytelling work.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Flourish, Datawrapper, etc.).
- Exposure to mapping tools (Mapbox, MapLibre, GIS).
- Expert eye for layout, typography and detail.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite + Figma.
- Work on content seen by millions daily.
