We are working exclusively with a well-established, market-leading financial data and technology business that is looking to hire an experienced Product Owner to own a new data product initiative, taking a validated concept through beta and into a scalable, revenue-generating product.

You will work at the intersection of data, product, and financial markets, with real ownership over delivery and influence on how the product is commercialised.

  • Owning end-to-end delivery of a benchmark data product, from beta through to scale
  • Defining and evolving pricing methodologies, data models, and benchmark frameworks
  • Partnering with commercial teams on product positioning, pricing, and revenue strategy
  • Supporting the development of institutional-grade data products and indices
  • Managing stakeholders across product, data, and external partners

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with experience in financial data, benchmarking, or capital markets or a data/analytics-driven environment
  • Background in financial services, capital markets, or data-led platforms
  • Strong understanding of data products, analytics, and pricing/benchmark models
  • Candidates from financial data and benchmark providers
  • Insurance or Lloyd's market experience is a bonus, not a requirement
  • Familiarity with how insurance policies are structured, priced, or traded

  • A genuine curiosity about where insurance data meets financial markets
  • Building and scaling a greenfield data product with real market impact
  • Close involvement in both product delivery and commercial strategy, with clear visibility at leadership level
  • Be part of a business with unique, high-value data and a genuine competitive edge
