We are working exclusively with a well-established, market-leading financial data and technology business that is looking to hire an experienced Product Owner to own a new data product initiative, taking a validated concept through beta and into a scalable, revenue-generating product.
You will work at the intersection of data, product, and financial markets, with real ownership over delivery and influence on how the product is commercialised.
- Owning end-to-end delivery of a benchmark data product, from beta through to scale
- Defining and evolving pricing methodologies, data models, and benchmark frameworks
- Partnering with commercial teams on product positioning, pricing, and revenue strategy
- Supporting the development of institutional-grade data products and indices
- Managing stakeholders across product, data, and external partners
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with experience in financial data, benchmarking, or capital markets or a data/analytics-driven environment
- Background in financial services, capital markets, or data-led platforms
- Strong understanding of data products, analytics, and pricing/benchmark models
- Candidates from financial data and benchmark providers
- Insurance or Lloyd's market experience is a bonus, not a requirement
- Familiarity with how insurance policies are structured, priced, or traded
- Experience building or working alongside products sold to institutional investors (hedge funds, asset managers, or banks)
- A genuine curiosity about where insurance data meets financial markets
- Building and scaling a greenfield data product with real market impact
- Close involvement in both product delivery and commercial strategy, with clear visibility at leadership level
