Overview

Pulse On Recruitment is working with a respected criminal defence firm in West Yorkshire to recruit a Criminal Defence Solicitor. This role is open to:

  • Newly qualified solicitors
  • Solicitors slightly over-qualified
  • Candidates from legal aid backgrounds
  • Solicitors transitioning from civil or family law

Training and ongoing supervision will be provided where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Police station attendances
  • Magistrates’ court advocacy
  • Criminal case preparation and management
  • Participation in police station rota (3 nights every 6 weeks – £100 per call-out)
  • Client care and legal correspondence

Flexible Working

  • Qualified solicitor (NQ–2 PQE preferred, flexibility offered)
