Pulse Nursing are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Anaesthetic Nurses in the South West London area. At Pulse, we understand that being a Registered Anaesthetic Nurse can be challenging. We're here to help Scrub Nurses, like you, navigate difficult situations and provide support through tough times, so you can focus on the job you love doing.
Get the freedom to work how you want, when you want with our flexible shifts available from Monday through to Sunday. With Pulse you can plan ahead with our block bookings, available to book up to 3 months in advance. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the South West London area paying between £25.50- £40.00 per hour.
Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse responsibilities include:
- The Anaesthetic nurse's role is to detect adverse effects as soon as possible and intervene promptly and adequately within pre-operation settings.
- Administrating Anaesthetics to patients before surgery.
- Monitoring drug levels of patients throughout the operation.
- Assessing the patient to ensure they can be discharged back to a ward.
- Offering support to the patient upon arrival to the post anaesthetic unit.
- Communicating with the anaesthetist and other members of the team.
- Keeping up to date with records of each patient.
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Valid NMC registration.
- At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Scrub Sector.
- Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
- Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
- Right to work within the UK - proof will be required.
