Are you passionate about delivering exceptional cancer care? At Pulse, we are collaborating with a leading global health and life sciences provider, renowned for its commitment to patient-centred care across the UK.
We are seeking a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse to support patients undergoing Oncology/Chemotherapy treatments in the community, working alongside designated hospitals and health centres in the Oxford area.
Your Role:
- In this role, you will be instrumental in educating and supporting patients through their treatment journey, ensuring services are delivered with a patient-centric and customer-focused approach.
- Conduct clinical assessments tailored to individual patient needs.
- Deliver education and training to enable patients and carers, to safely self-medicate relevant treatments.
- Provide ongoing support through comprehensive patient programmes (telephone, clinic-based, and home visits).
- Assess home environments to ensure suitability for IV oncology treatment, prioritising patient safety and security.

What We're Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.
- Chemotherapy delivery qualification (SACT certification).
- Experience in administering oncology/chemotherapy medications, within a hospital or community setting.
- Competence in clinical assessments, IV administration, cannulation, phlebotomy, and subcutaneous injections.
