Pulse are looking for registered highly motivated and talented Band 5 & 6 Paediatric Intensive Care Nurses to join our Tier 1 agency to work in Bristol. What you will be doing as a Registered Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse:
- Actively communicate with the patient's family and loved ones. Communicating assertively with family members to reassure them and provide information about what is happening with the patients is essential.
- PICU nurses have the primary responsibility of assessing, treating, and monitoring young patients under 18 years old who are presenting acute, serious ailments.
- PICU nurses must record patient information concisely and accurately because every symptom matters.
- Paediatric intensive care nurses also answer questions and provide education for caregivers about managing their child's health condition.
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Valid NMC registration
- At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Paediatric Sector
- Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
- Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
- Right to work within the UK - proof will be required.
