Pulse Nursing are currently seeking Band 5 & 6 Registered Theatres Nurses to join our growing team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. Barts Health NHS Trust currently have a high volume of shifts available and as a Pulse healthcare professional, you get the first choice of the best shifts! This current opportunity will give you the flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and in turn, be in control of your schedule. With Barts being one of Pulse Nursing's priority clients, we can offer a great deal of shifts within this trust.
We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in Barts Health Trust paying between £20.89 - £39.58 per hour. As a Band 5 & 6 Theatres Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgery. You will rotate across various specialities, including scrub, anaesthetics, and recovery, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care before, during, and after their procedure.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality perioperative care in line with evidence-based practice and hospital protocols.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order.
- Support the surgical team as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, or anaesthetic nurse, depending on rotation and patient needs.
- Monitor patients' conditions during surgery and in the recovery phase, providing critical care support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
- A passion for perioperative care and a commitment to delivering high standards of nursing.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV.
- Right to work within the UK - Proof will be required.
