Band 5 & 6 Registered Paediatric Nurses are sought to join the team at Newham Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust. There are a high volume of shifts available, and Pulse Nursing professionals receive priority access to the best shifts. The opportunity offers flexibility to book in advance, helping you plan ahead and manage your schedule. Shifts include a variety of patterns, with the potential for full-time equivalent hours. Pay ranges from £19.72 to £38.23 per hour.
As a Band 5 or 6 Paediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality, family-centered care to children and young people with a range of healthcare needs. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver nursing interventions that support positive outcomes for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and effectively.
- Provide emotional support, education, and advice to children, young people, and their families.
- Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and participate in clinical decision-making.
- Promote a safe, child-friendly environment that fosters healing and wellbeing.
Role Requirements
- Registered Children\'s Nurse (RNC) with a valid NMC registration.
- Passionate about providing high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
- Meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, clinical references, and an updated CV.
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
