Are you a Registered A&E Nurse based in London looking for some extra work? Pulse Nursing are seeking professional, experienced A&E nurses to join our team. As an A&E nurse you will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver top quality care to patients. This is an extremely rewarding role where you will be able to develop your skills in a clinical setting whilst improving the lives of patients who require your dedicated care. This current opportunity will give you the flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and in turn, be in control of your schedule. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the East London area paying between £19.72 - £31.00 per hour.
Registered A&E Nurse Responsibilities Includes:- Doing the initial patient examination to assess the patient's needs
- Fixing dressings and administering medication for pain relief
- Determining what department the patient needs to be referred to
- Completing all paperwork including discharge forms
- Talking with the paramedics and taking over the patient's care
- Making arrangements to admit patients into hospital if needed
- Working with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations
- Maintaining contact with laboratory personnel to report any initial lab findings back to the A&E doctors
- Taking basic observations, including pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation
- NMC Registration
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK - Proof will be required.
