We support people living with a wide range of complex conditions, helping them stay safe, independent and connected to their communities. Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a registered paediatric nurse, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role: In this role, you will be supporting our 11-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs including global developmental delay and a complex seizure disorder. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions which include deep suctioning, care and use of PEG-J and epilepsy (in-house training will be provided if required).

Role Requirements:

  • 6 months nursing experience within the last 2 years (UK based)
  • Actively registered on the NMC
  • Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling
  • Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
  • Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
  • Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
