Paediatric Nurse (RNC)
Location: Fareham (PO14)
Shift: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 4pm (school support), Saturday Night 8pm – 8am
Pay rate: £28.37 – £34.67 per hour (including holiday pay)
We specialise in nurse‑led packages of care for clients with complex needs who want to receive care in their own homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Work with a 13‑year‑old male client who lives with complex care needs in the family home.
- Provide clinical care, including tracheostomy management, humidification, chest physio and cough assistance.
- Enhance the client’s quality of life and social needs through play and interaction.
- Deliver high‑quality patient care and build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
Qualifications
- Paediatric Nurse with at least 6 months UK‑based experience within the last 2 years.
- Recent experience (within the last 12 months) in tracheostomy care and suctioning / tube change.
- Ventilation via tracheostomy.
- Humidification.
- Chest physio (percussions/vibrations).
- Colostomy/ileostomy care.
- Jejunostomy care.
- Central venous catheter (CVC) care.
- TPN experience – upskill available.
- Cough assist.
