Shifts: Days – 8am to 8pm; Nights – 8pm to 8am
Pay rate: £28.37 – £34.67 per hour (including holiday pay)
As part of Pulse Nursing at Home’s specialist nurse‑led home care packages, you will provide care for an eight‑month‑old male paediatric client with a complex genetic condition in his family home. Your role includes supporting his clinical needs; enhancing his quality of life; and enriching his social needs through play and interaction. You will deliver high‑quality patient care, build rapport with the client while maintaining professional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive paediatric nursing care for a client with a complex genetic condition
- Provide and manage enteral nutrition via nasogastric tube
- Administer care related to epilepsy management
- Perform emergency rescue using one‑person bagging technique
- Ensure safe, professional, and compassionate interaction with the client and family
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Registered Nurse (BSc/MBBS/…) with paediatric nursing experience
- Recent hands‑on experience with nasogastric tube insertion and care
- Experience caring for children with epilepsy
- Capability to perform one‑person bagging emergency technique
- Valid UK nursing registration and revalidation support
- Revalidation support and guidance
- Four payroll runs per week
- 24/7 expert clinical support from a dedicated team
