The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in York. This is a full-time position starting on 20th September 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £28 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting a range of respiratory tests and assessments.
  • Interpreting test results and providing accurate reports.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained and calibrated.
  • Providing patient education and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Clinical PFT/LFT experience. Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist. Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
  • Desirable: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
