The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Physiologist to join our team in Worthing. This is a full-time position starting on the 28th of October 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £26 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will conduct sleep studies and polysomnography.
- You will analyse and interpret sleep data.
- You will provide comprehensive reports and recommendations.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
- Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist.
- Experience as a sleep physiologist.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
