Rate: £15 - £22 per hour

Working hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM

About the role

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Worksop. This is a temporary position for one month initially, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • You will manage and maintain pharmaceutical stock.
  • You will provide expert advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • You will assist in the preparation of prescriptions and other pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience/Knowledge:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
