We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Aseptic/Oncology Pharmacist to join our client's team in Worcester. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with recent hospital experience who is confident working under pressure in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for screening chemotherapy prescriptions for the day case unit, working within the aseptic laboratory, and responding to queries from nursing staff regarding chemotherapy medications.
- You may also be required to provide ad hoc support in the dispensary.
- Proficiency in using established pharmacy computer systems, such as the Ascribe dispensing system, is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience is essential
- Experience in aseptic services and oncology pharmacy
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team
- Familiarity with pharmacy IT systems, particularly Ascribe
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
