The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist specializing in Mental Health to join our team in Essex. We are open to considering Band 6 candidates with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- You will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to mental health patients.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal medication management.
- You will conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice on psychotropic medications.
- You will support and educate healthcare staff on mental health pharmacotherapy.
- You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Education and Qualifications:
- GPhC Registered.
- 1 year pre-registration training.
- Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
- Previous NHS hospital experience inclusive of clinical pharmacy practice.
- Relevant experience in mental health settings preferred; hospital experience will be considered.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
- Experience in data analysis or a related field.
