We’re looking for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a growing Gastroenterology service in South West England. This department consists of 8 Consultant Gastroenterologists and 1 Consultant Hepatologist working across two sites.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible and work independently for the continuing care of patients alongside consultant staff.
- Participate in the Gastroenterology on-call rota.
- Work independently caring for patients with gastrointestinal complaints, carrying out a mixture of emergency and elective care.
- CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration.
Requirements
- Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6 months.
- Applicants for the substantive position must have GMC specialist registration or be eligible to join the specialist register within 6 months.
- MRCP or equivalent.
