We are looking for a highly skilled mammographer to join our team. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £41‐42 per hour, with working hours from 09:00 to 17:00. It is available for an immediate start and provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high‐quality breast imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Band 8a Mammographer you will perform a range of mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic procedures. You will operate specialised mammography equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning, and collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care and continuous improvement.
Requirements- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the HCPC.
- Postgraduate qualification in Mammography (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammographer, ideally at Band 8a level.
- Proficiency in using advanced mammography equipment and techniques.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and breast imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
