The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 8a Lead Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the medicines management agenda within our care settings, providing a comprehensive clinical service for both adult and children & young people’s inpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will support the medicines management agenda within Havens Hospices Care settings.
  • You will provide a comprehensive clinical service for both adult and children & young people’s inpatient services.
  • You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

  • GPhC Registered.
  • MPharm plus 1 year pre-registration training.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy.
  • Previous NHS hospital experience inclusive of clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Demonstrated experience of multi-disciplinary working.
  • Independent Prescriber.
  • Postgraduate management qualification.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
  • Experience in data analysis or a related field.
