We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Dr in Forensic Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Southampton, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering specialist psychiatric care within forensic inpatient and community mental health team (CMHT) settings.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments.
- Contributing to treatment planning.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe and effective mental health services.
- Participating in ward rounds, clinical documentation, and service development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Experience in forensic psychiatry, including inpatient and CMHT settings
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
