Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00AM to 17:00PM (variations negotiable)
About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 4 to 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medicines management and will work on the wards. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will provide medicines management support on the wards, ensuring accurate dispensing and checking of medications.
- You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting. Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACTPT) certification. Medicines Management qualifications.
- Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
