The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- You will be preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- You will be managing and maintaining accurate patient records.
- You will be assisting with inventory management and stock control.
- You will be providing excellent customer service and patient care.
- You will be ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience/Knowledge:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
