We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our client’s team at Sheffield. This role is suitable for candidates at Band 7 level. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality invasive cardiac diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, contributing to the overall care and management of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a range of invasive cardiac procedures such as angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintaining patient records, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Proficiency in performing angiograms, pacemaker insertions and follow-ups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
