Senior Care Assistant Salary range: £40 per year + Paid Breaks + Overtime paid at £15.35 per hour Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday Night shifts. There is a two-week rolling rota for hours between 8pm – 8am Working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art 90-bed care home in Chorley, offering premium personal, dementia, and respite care over three floors. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will act as a role model, offering guidance and support to the care team. You will be responsible for administering medication, identifying signs of deterioration in residents’ conditions, and directing care appropriately. The role requires confidence in liaising with healthcare professionals and promoting high standards of care. Conduct risk assessments and develop personalised care plans. Ensure compliance with professional standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements set by the Care Quality Commission. What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant: Proven experience in elderly care and dementia care settings. Demonstrated experience working overnight shifts and a genuine commitment to person-centred care. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
