- Carry out blood grouping, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and issue blood components for transfusion.
- Ensure safe transfusion practices and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory; Quality Management Systems beneficial
- Familiarity with LIMS and transfusion analysers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
