Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Gloucester. This specialist care facility provides 24‑hour nursing and therapy services for individuals with complex long‑term neurological conditions. In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring safe and efficient medication management working closely with GPs, nursing teams and pharmacy providers to support service users and maintain compliance with best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medication ordering, dispensing and timely delivery on‑site.
- Act on safety alerts and ensure secure storage of medicines.
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning.
- Support clinical governance audits and service development initiatives.
- Deliver staff training on medication management and maintain GPhC compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Practice (or equivalent BTEC/NVQ Level 3).
- Minimum of two years supervised experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and non‑clinical teams.
