About the Role: Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team in Penarth. As a Pharmacy Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others’ lives. Whether you’re supporting pharmacists, providing top‑notch services to customers, or fostering community spirit, your work will touch the lives of hundreds of people every day. Full‑time 36 hours per week or part‑time 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will dispense prescriptions, offer various NHS and private services, and provide healthcare guidance to customers.
- You will actively participate in our charity support program, offering advice to community members at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
- You will lead, train, and develop team members, and foster relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
- You will ensure accurate claims for NHS‑covered items and utilize a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff availability, so you’re always there to meet your customers’ needs.
What we are looking for in a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist:
Qualifications:
- Accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- A master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm).
Experience:
- At least 18 months of clinical pharmacy experience.
- You’ll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
