About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team in a specialist school setting in West London. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with a range of physical developmental and sensory needs to achieve their full potential in education and daily life. As part of a multidisciplinary team you will work closely with teachers, support staff and families to provide tailored interventions that promote independence, participation and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardised and informal tools.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support functional skills, self-care and school-based activities.
- Deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions within the school environment.
- Provide advice, training and strategies to staff and caregivers to embed therapeutic approaches.
- Contribute to EHCP processes and multidisciplinary reviews.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
About You
- Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational or paediatric setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as required.
